Ramsbottom Dental Care guarantee all our fixed restorations, implants, removable restorations and cosmetic dentistry.
The guarantee is subject to a yearly examination and good general oral health.
The Guarantee applies to your dental work as follow:
§ Implants: 5 years
§ Implant restorations: 2 years (if it was done at Ramsbottom Dental Care)
§ Bridges, crowns: 2 years
§ Partial and full dentures: 1 year
§ Fillings: 1 year Ramsbottom Dental Care is not liable for any unforeseen root canal treatment needed after having tooth/teeth
prepared for crown & bridgework. Occasionally a tooth may suffer from pulpitis (inflammation of nerve) due to the trauma of the preparation. The tooth may need root canal therapy to treat this condition. In the case of failure of laboratory work, due to manufacturing defects, we will cover all necessary dental and laboratory costs to rectify the problem. We will restore, repair or change broken, loose and fractured fillings or crowns free of charge in the time period set out as above. In the case of implants the guarantee is only valid if our dental clinic completes the full work including fitting the crowns and/or bridges. The guarantees are invalid if:
§ The defective dental treatment has been tampered or completed by someone other than Ramsbottom Dental Care
§ You oral health has been neglected.
§ The maintenance and care instructions was not followed.
§ Removable restoration such as partial or full dentures have not been kept and maintained properly.
§ There is a natural decline in the health of the gums or supporting bone.
§ Accidental damage has occurred, such as dropping of the dentures.
§ If there is a systemic disease that may have a negative effects on your dentition and which may lead to treatment failure.
§ If the patient has not maintained his/her routine examination at Ramsbottom Dental Care at least once a year. The guarantee does not apply for the following:
§ Damage caused by extreme stress (grinding teeth at night, gripping of the teeth and trauma).
§ Damage caused by intervention of other individuals, not members of our dental team. (i.e. other dentists, technicians)
§ Temporary dentures, crowns or bridges.
§ Bone grafting procedures (bone block, bone augmentation, sinus lift, bone from hip).
§ Tooth-whitening procedure.
§ Inappropriate selection of the color and shape of the dental work by the patient i.e. color of crowns (we provide opportunity to choose during the preparation but we cannot take responsibility for the decision of the patient).
§ Root canal treatment (root canal treatment has a high risk factor, guarantees of success cannot be given because the anatomic differences and the large number of variations).
